Sourdough bread is amazing, the veggie avocado and sprout sandwich is something I come back for over and over. The pizza is also really excellent. I have had the veggie pizza. The grain bowls are also top-notch. You order at the cash register, and they give you a vibrating pager. During the summer, sitting outside is very pleasant. During colder weather, they only have 2 or 3 tables, but the brewery next door lets you sit at their tables. The cashier is always pleasant and helpful.

I just picked up my Thanksgiving order of Fig and Pecan bread and also rosemary bread. Of course I had to slice myself a piece of the Fig and Pecan and slather it with Irish butter. WOW. What a wonderful combination. Now, I can’t wait to eat the pre-made dressing I picked up. Can I wait until tomorrow?????

Everything here is homemade and mostly sourced from local ingredients. Some of the highest quality food I've had anywhere.

The sandwiches were so good, the cubano and the figgy piggy. amazing. The girl at the register was nice BUT we waited an hour for 2 sandwiches when we were told 35-45 min. And we were no 8 and number 13 picked up her sandwiches 5 min before us. Looked like they definitely put the pizza orders in first.

Would give 5 stars if I could as they have a fully complete vegan menu. Amazing pizzas. Vegan cheese. Friendly and helpful staff.
A very bougie supposed Hotspot just outside of Ann Arbor. Went because of the reviews but was disappointed. After being open for only 90 minutes they ran out of bacon. Who runs a restaurant like that? Also got orders wrong, forgot to add tomatoes to a turkey sandwich. Didn't add mustard when requested. Overall just a classic hipster money grab--and this is from a Leftist.

Meh! We arrived at 5pm and they had “no bread”. What? Name of your restaurant is “bread haus”!
Got two power bowls that were less than good! tempah fest … tempeh was burnt and way too salty, and the rest was just quinoa and some salad mix. Salad dressing was just oil … yuk!
Other bowl was same thing but replace tempeh with gabanzo beans … this tasted just as plain
So disappointed! Had to stop at Aubree’s to get something edible after going there

The apple and brie pizza was amazing! The crust is made from sourdough so it gives it a distinct taste. We were able to get beer or coffee from the other side of the building. They do need a garbage table. While we were there, we noticed someone had their chihuahua on one of the tables that you eat at. Great atmosphere.

There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when a bakery doesn’t try too hard to impress—but does anyway. Tucked off the main stretch in Dexter, Michigan, Raterman Bread Haus & Bistro feels less like a café, more like a well-kept secret you want to share only selectively. I brought loaves to my German neighbors, who praised the crumb and flavor like it came from a European bakery. Personally I love the Scottish fruit bread, it toasts up nice and I slathered it in Kerrygold, the taste was strikingly like Dutch krentenbollen—sweet, buttery, and just shy of dessert. Their sourdough olive twists are chewy, briny perfection, while the takeaway pizza earned rave reviews from my family, especially the spicy Calabrian pepperoni, which disappeared almost instantly. I also ordered a custom Formaggio pie—no sauce, just cheese, basil, and olives—it was so bright and fresh! Every bite here is deeply flavorful and I can’t wait to come back.

Got the bread + spread & the 4 cheese pizza. Sourdough bread was fresh, soft, and so, so scrumptious. Tried the fig spread and goat cheese. Can't recommend this enough. 4 cheese pizza was tangy and delicious. Come early because they tend to sell out of ingredients. Definitely coming back!!

Hours are horrible. If you are only going to be open 4 days then BE OPEN. Opening a bakery at noon? Not great.
Have had the bread once. It was good but obviously difficult to get given the hours.

Pizza and sandwiches are amazing. And the loaf bread is perfect for the meals that require it. This place is a truly unique gem.
