Not only in dollar bay, it's the only restaurant in dollar bay. The food is good, and they have whitefish. It's a solid choice option for over crowded restaurants in Houghton.
I had a great meal here while staying in the Houghton area. I ordered a steak (which was very good) but the star of the meal was the french onion soup served here. Holy cow, I could've just eaten it and been perfectly happy. Like I said, the steak was also very good. It was cooked medium rare, which is what I asked for, but I did think it could've used a little seasoning. Other than that, it was delicious. The wild rice I had with the meal was also a great surprise....
Cute little place. Fish fry was super fresh with good sized portions. All the staff were very nice and welcoming. Neat mining memorabilia. Our son will be attending Michigan Tech, so we will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.
