Went specifically for a float. It was totally worth it. Seeing the big barrel is so cool too. Gave me donkey Kong vibes. Also got a hot dog and potato salad. Dogs were big, none of those skinny little things. Had a good snap. Kraut on top was salty and delicious. Potato salad was good, looked like some redskins in there. Good spot, def recommend.
A must stop if you are in the area. The rootbeer is amazing and the floats as well. Service is fast and friendly. Cool history to the barrel as well. Knock down a game if corn hole while you are there.
Got the coney, kraut, and a plain dog with relish and ketchup. Surprisingly, the one with the most flavor was the relish dog. The coney was straight mush and the bun was split open on the bottom, the kraut had no flavor at all not sure if it was old or needed a bad stir and way too much mustard on it. Regardless the hot dog quality was great and you don’t get that quality anywhere.
