I have lived in Dowagiac for 25 years, and must have been living under a rock, because I just tried this quaint restaurant, some of the best prime rib I have had, excellent! The carrot cake was a dream, a must get. the drinks are reasonable in cost. We will definitely be back!
Timberline’s ambiance is part of its magic—a beautiful, wooded setting and nostalgic interior complete with white table linens. And then there’s the food. Oh, the food!

A great restaurant located in a wooded area, near Indian lake. Service was impeccable, our server Dana M was great. My ribeye steak was fantastic as was my wife's. The best we have had in years, and I like steak. The salad was crispy and fresh. I would rate them at 100%, we plan to go again.
