I have lived in Dowagiac for 25 years, and must have been living under a rock, because I just tried this quaint restaurant, some of the best prime rib I have had, excellent! The carrot cake was a dream, a must get. the drinks are reasonable in cost. We will definitely be back!
Timberline’s ambiance is part of its magic—a beautiful, wooded setting and nostalgic interior complete with white table linens. And then there’s the food. Oh, the food!

Crab cake app, Blackened Salmon and prime rib were excellent. Petite filet was very good. Main dining area is a little loud due to acoustics.
