A great sushi spot just outside of MSU’s campus with rotating deals on sushi and drinks throughout the week for students and guests. Rolls are affordably priced, drinks as well, and they offer other menu items for a broader experience. Our friends ordered the Japanese curry and stir-fry.

Husband stopped and picked up on way home. Experience may be different if dining in. Tempura veggies were very good. Shrimp that came with had a corn based coating which I did not like. I took off the coating and the shrimp were all still carrying the poop shoot. I almost threw up. Katsu coating is also the corn based rather than traditional panko. Unable to order any sushi roll substitutions. Since my husband is allergic to corn, and I could not eat the tough and extremely thin (almost scaloppini cut) ton katsu that had roughly three times thickness of batter vs meat, we pretty much split the vegetable tempura and threw away the rest.
Vegetarian options: would not trust oil used for frying is kept vegan.

I'm obsessed with their Salmon Pizza roll. I live like 50 mins away and I will occasionally make the drive just for that roll! Sooooo delicious!

If you happen to show up and there's a light crowd, take a listen to the music. We were listening to mostly '70s Rock and it was a little out of the ordinary. Food was good, but not spectacular.

Great food at really reasonable prices. I love to stop here when I am in town. They have a lot of menu choices and the portion sizes are generous. Service is solid. Lunch specials and discounted Mondays are great deals.

We've been here several times and it's always great. Was just there for my birthday and the food was great, staff was super friendly and provided crayons and coloring sheets and some foam crafts for my kids too. Very attentive staff. My daughter had dropped a piece of paper and went to stand up and a staff member noticed and came right over worried she might slip on it and fall and stopped her so he could pick it up before she stood. It was very thoughtful. We ordered 2 different of the sushi platters. Everything was delicious and the presentation was great! We'll be back for sure!!
Vegetarian options: Not sure about the entire menu as we went for sushi. But the sushi has a vegetarian section.

Surprised it's actually better than I thought it would be given the location and price point. I tried the Bulgogi lunch box which was tasty, just not as much beef as I'd like. Having said that, there was a nice mix of additional items in the Bento to make up for it. I had the fried rice which was one of the tastier fried rice I've ever had. Lot of egg which is usually the opposite. For sure willing to try again.

ordered takeout from here and got the chicken katsu and the hwe dup bop.
the katsu was the saddest thing I've ever seen, and also tasted like there was no seasoning which is insane considering the fact that it was $17! for a portion this small and also this TERRIBLE. also there was BARELY any chicken in it. looks like they found the thinnest smallest worst quality piece of chicken and decided to fry it and serve it to us.
the hwe dup bop was just OK, the fish quality wasn't bad but there was just way too much lettuce in it.
will not be eating food from here again.

Nice service, good food and good location. Strange Billy Joel music blasting every once in a while.
Parking: It's Michigan. Lots of spots on a Thursday

They made a mistake with our food and wanted to charge us extra for their mistake. The shift manager was rude when we were trying to solve the issue. She was a B....

Unbelievably poor management! The chef accidentally put the wrong sushi roll on the wrong persons plate. After the plate was half eaten and handled by children, the waitress realized the mistake. They decided the solution was to take the plate back and separate the misplaced roll and give that to the correct person. When we voiced our objections the manager demanded either the original orderer, or the person who first received the roll pay for the roll. We refused the roll and the manager argued. When we received the check a 20% gratuity was already added. We were all frequent repeat customers, but not one of us will be returning. I truly can't understand the reasoning of a manager who valued an $11 plate over repeat business. There are plenty of better sushi restaurants in Lansing. This happened on Sat, May 12.

I used to LOVVEEE this place. I was a top paying customer, I came here all of the time but recently I ordered the fusion roll (which I usually get) there was literally a spec of tuna in it and the price increased INSANELY for a small portion. Used to be around 12 (which is already asking a lot) now 14??? Crazy. Not coming back sadly.
