Wednesday Special
A milder (and vegan) alternative to the Senegal special, this unique dish from Mozambique consists of our traditional collard greens stewed in a mild sauce of ground peanuts and coconut milk. Very creamy and deliciously subtle. Served over rice. Served with a small side of cabbage and salad.
Tuesday Special
Mild or spicy beef chunks sauteed with pieces of Altu's sweet and tender cabbage. A simple dish with lots of surprising flavors. Served with a small side of cabbage and salad.
Thursday Special
Another favorite dish with low heat and big flavor. Tender potato chunks are stewed in a complex curry sauce with whole green beans and baby carrots. Served with a small side of cabbage and salad.

Had ANOTHER great experience here today. Just want to acknowledge our waitress today she was especially sweet and informative. She was very nice and attentive and knew everything about the menu. We will be back. She made our experience great.

Yummy food and a calm environment. The veggie plate was a good portion and you could choose if you wanted rice, injera, or half and half. There was only one waiter, and she was very busy but nice.
