chicken wings was way over cooked and tasted old. Tenders wasn't even tenders. just took a chicken patty and sliced it into stripes. will never order again. overall food was horrible... couldn't even eat it....
I made an order for delivery and was sent the wrong food. When called to get it resolved, I was told they would have to charge me for the food they made incorrect AND for the food actually ordered. I had no problem paying for the food initially ordered but did not think it was fair for me to pay for the mess up. Not willing to make things right. Terrible service.
The oasis of East Lansing. Quality Establishment.

New Rice Kitchen in East Lansing is known for its quick, made-to-order, authentic Chinese dishes. Popular items include orange chicken, crab Rangoon, and fried rice. The food is always hot and ready within 15-20 minutes, and the restaurant is open late. The shrimp fried rice and General Tso's chicken are standouts, and the crab Rangoon is praised for being fresh and tasty. The sweet and sour chicken has been noted to have more batter than chicken, though many customers find the sweet and sour dinner combo to be a good size and fresh. The meals are well-seasoned and packed full of meat and rice, making them a great value at about $12 each. The owners are described as friendly and nice. Some suggestions for improvement include adding a message option and using better peppers for a spicier dish. Overall, New Rice Kitchen is a great option for quick, delicious Chinese food in the area, and deserves more recognition for its quality offerings.
