I don’t usually write reviews, but the food I ate here was amazing. I had the rodeo burger with fries and it tasted amazing. Everything was so fresh! I would definitely come here again.
Get the Olive Burger! It’s a local Lansing-area creation and absolutely worth trying. The Peanut Barrel is a great old-school East Lansing spot with a fun, casual atmosphere. The burger was fantastic — definitely something I’ll get again when I’m back in town visiting MSU. Amazing!!!
I have loved the PB for decades! However, since the ownership change (the Crunchy’s owner purchased PB), the experience has declined. They are now “nickel and diming” everything: lettuce and tomato is .35, adding cheese is $1, olive sauce added to a sandwich is $3.50, coleslaw is $3.50, and more. As soon as I left last evening, I immediately had serious intestinal issues. The servers are still wonderful and seem embarrassed for the pricing changes....
