The Tropical Smoothie Cafe on West Saginaw in Lansing is the only one that I will drive across town to avoid. I went there again today for the first time in several years; I thought I would give them another chance to see if they have improved any. They have not. This place is just a ludicrous mess.
Today, 7-16, tried to order a blueberry bliss. Can’t do it. They have no blueberries. I get it.
Therefore, order Açaí berry boost. It went through.
Drive all the way there. It’s not ready. Notify them that I’m there. Nothing.
Finally, some young guy comes up, calls me “boss,” and asks what I’m waiting for.

I normally order from the Okemos location and they are wonderful. tonight I ordered from the Lansing location and was really disappointed. First they forgot one of my sides and the sides for both kids meals I ordered. Thankfully, I checked before driving 20 minutes home. Then when we got home, I had ordered two chicken quesadillas, and not only did both quesadillas lack chicken, they were burnt and too hard/ crunchy for my kids to eat.
