love coming to this place as it's open late and is a great place to wind down after class with delicious food. the owner is incredibly nice and welcoming. usually get the classic udon or hameulpajeon! love looking at all the pictures that have accumulated over the years, nice to know that it has been well loved for years.
What a pleasant surprise. I stopped by for dinner yesterday night because it's one of the relatively few non-fast food restaurants in East Lansing open past 10:00 pm. I ordered the beef noodle soup and was blown away by how delicious it was. The beef was tender, the broth was flavorful, and the portion size was generous. And the owner was very friendly. I look forward to returning!
As someone who normally hates kimchi, I actually love it here. Everything tastes freshly made and just delicious. Everyone I have interacted there has been super friendly.
So far have tried the beef noodle, spicy seafood noodle, chicken dumplings, and newer fried chicken wings, all bangers. The new chicken wings are not too spicy, the cook/texture is perfect, and the sauce is to die for. Comes with rice, so would recommend mixing the rice with the leftover sauce...
