Well, i think this could be a great spot if there is more put into food and detail. Although our server wasnt rude, she was luke warm.The food was the equivalent to sonic or dairy queen. Right! We were really expecting a sea food place. It was more like sea food fast food! Portions were cunningly hidden by quantity, but really wasnt that big. The catfish was fried hard, a little too hard and tasted like it came from Sams Club. I ordered the gumbo. It was ok while it was hot, but kinda tasted like watered down fish soup. I dont want to sound harsh, but presenting with transparency. It may be an ok spot, if thats what youre looking for. I would like to see someone put the money in this place to help the owner realize what i think is his dream.Parking: Corner joint, so the parking is good.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere

UPDATE: I CALLED AND I SEEM TO GET THE RUN AROUND, although Johnathan was very nice and tried helping. NOBODY SEEMS TO KNOW ANYTHING. I CANNOT SEE YOUR CONTACT NUMBER ON HERE AS GOOGLE BLOCKS IT OUT AND NO ONE AT THE STORE SEEMS TO HAVE IT! I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I DO NOT recommend this place at all. As a business owner myself I know the impact of reviews let alone bad reviews. I had take out here twice and the experience was both negative. First when ordering the seafood boil yesterday Ramona stated I do not get more corn and potatoes for every pound that I got. I said are you serious, she said yes. I said I may have to call this other place then and she hung up on me. I called her back to continue to place my order and no apology for hanging up on me when I mentioned she had. (My first visit there she was on her cell phone and I had to wait until she finished her call for her to respond or acknowledge I was right there in front of her {about 5 minutes}. SMH.) I had to pay to add corn and potatoes. I ordered coconut shrimp and did not get coconut shrimp, just plain deep fried shrimp that was overcooked and so hard around the edges you couldn’t eat it, not to mention cold. Couldn’t put it in the air fryer as it was already overcooked. Ordered calamari and it was so soggy and cold. Had to put it in my air fryer in order to eat it. Ordered catfish, wasn’t too bad. It wasn’t cold at least and was crunchy so a plus there. I live two blocks from there so there’s no way anything should be cold. Now to the seafood boil. Barely any liquid in the bottom of the bag. The liquid had good flavor but there wasn't enough in it to cover anything. Ended up having it for lunch today, placing the seafood and liquid in a pan to slow simmer in hopes not to overcook. Now the potatoes, corn, and all the seafood have the flavor. But unfortunately the shrimp and sausage were no good because it had been cooked twice. Gross!!!! And the prices… Wow!!! Can you say OVERPRICED! Check out Red Crab Juicy Seafood in Sterling Heights. I have been going to this place and the food is great! I went to Crafty Crab because it’s so close to home. I had high hopes for Crafty Crab. But I will drive further for better food, and more polite people. And Crafty Crabs prices compared to Red Crab Juicy is far better. Even if Red Crab Juicy had cost a little more I would still go there now. Crafty Crab is just horrible!

15% gratuity for all dine in. Crab and sausage great. Fish and chips was mad with cornmeal, not so great. Not charged. Staff was fast and quick. Patience should have been the employees middle name. Worth the 15%.

The food was delicious and seasoned phenomenally!! The place was SPOTLESS and the lady that helped me was SO KIND AND POLITE. I will absolutely be back!
Of the 4 times my family and I have been there, the food is always pretty good and in plentiful amount. Service has ranged from fair a year ago to awful now. Missing items, no drink refills, server hiding to avoid work since you are auto-gratuitied 20%; there is no incentive for the servers to do a good job, to the point I had to go to the kitchen myself to get plates. If the employees got off their phones long enough to clean the restrooms (think trap house bathroom), every female in my party would have liked the place better. Dining room seems clean enough, but even touching that bathroom door will make you lose your appetite. Its easy to see why it's mainly carry out. This place would make so much more money if the workers worked (and cleaned).

The food to me was not to my liking The season on the food was to hot Lemon Pepper it will make your eye twitch to much salt on the sausages got a headache from it the corn was the same color as the juice season the shrimps I said no head I get the hold body with the black stuff in it I had to wash it out before I had to eat it. The only thing that was good was the potatoes .I spent 35.00 not good to me .

The food was absolutely delicious!!! Oysters were fresh and tasted great. Best crab rangoon I've ever had!!! Crab legs were a nice, healthy size (not them skinny ones most restaurants serve). Great customer service!!!
