Had dinner with family at the Foundry Craft Grillery in Elk Rapids. Food was delicious and our server was wonderful. They had a trivia night and we participated and it was fun. A great experience and looking forward to going back sometime soon ? my first time here. Yall made a great impression on me.

We’ve had several meals at the Foundry & for the most part our experience has been good. Unfortunately the last meal we had was not very good. The same steak sandwich I’ve ordered previously was not good at all. The bread was stale & the amount of meat on the sandwich was severely lacking. In addition the chicken wings which in the past were fantastic were lukewarm & far from worth the $18 charge. There are few restaurants to choose from in Elk Rapids, I sincerely hope the Foundry can improve the quality of the food so we can continue to enjoy the venue

The service was absolutely horrible, there wasn't even a hostess to seat you, yet there is a sign that says Please wait to be seated. The only staff on the floor we could find acted like it wasn't her job to take our order, yet was willing to chase around and constantly be available to a food photographer for a new menu I assume. The $18 bacon cheese burger was over priced, over cooked since they don't cook to your desired temperature and was lukewarm by the time they served it to our table. I can see why this location is dead at a lunch hour with this service.

There was an average beer selection. The food was average, but their thai cauliflower was very good. The service was very good our server was very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was average.

Service and atmosphere were fine. My wife had a burger and sweet potato fries that were good. I had a rueben and regular fries that were less than stellar. When I'm trying a new place, I gauge it by their rueben. The sandwich, compared to others I've had, was below average. The fries were a bit limp and soggy. We will give them another chance, but I will definitely be trying something different.

Had a great experience 10 days ago on a Thursday at 3:30 pm. Everything spot on. We were only a few handful of people there. Awesome flatbread pizza, chicken wings and wedge salad. Everything was served hot. Yesterday, Sunday afternoon brought family from out of town and was sadly disappointed. We were informed upfront there was one bar tender and one cook. We knew it would be slow and we're fine with that. The problem was the food. Served barely warm (French fries) and the hamburgers that were really not edible. Completely burnt and hard on the outside, dry and overcooked on the inside. I wouldn't have eaten it, but the family we came with would never complain and just picked it apart. The one teen couldn't do this and had it replaced with Mac and cheese which was cold but delicious she said. If you cook burnt food - don't serve it and hope people don't complain. I wouldn't do this for company or myself at my own home. You know that it is burnt when you make it.

Stopped on Saturday afternoon while shopping in Elk Rapids. The atmosphere is modern & inviting. We ordered chicken & waffles along with Popeye’s Choice—both were different choices for us & impressively delicious!

While the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was decent, the service was some of the worst I’ve ever had. This was mid-afternoon, with about 1/3 of the tables occupied. Once seated by the host, it was quite a while before the waitress acknowledged us, with a thoroughly disinterested tone. The meal took quite a while to arrive, and was not hot when it arrived. The one time the waitress seemed friendly was when she handed us the check. I will not be back.
