Having a hometown tavern is great. The food is consistently good bar type food. The service is good and friendly but often understaffed. As far as the atmosphere goes, I rate it very low mainly because the acoustics are terrible. In addition, they play hard rock and heavy metal music so loud that you can't have a conversation. It's not a great place to meet up with friends like it used to be.

I give 3 stars because I've only been here twice, both around the same time of day. First time bartender says kitchen is open until I close the bar, second time different bartender says kitchen is closed. I drive semi and there's not alot of places to park and eat up here so I was excited to get some real food, only to be told that the kitchen is closed

We order from town club about 3 times a week. We have been building a house nearby and there’s anywhere from 3-5 guys to feed each time. One time we ordered 3 home run burgers and the lady was complaining their cooks had to make 3 of their big burgers. Another time I called around 11 when they opened I get the response “what? You just waiting to call us as soon as we open?” Lately we just get “oh it’s you again? You order here like everyday”. We go to pick it up and the lady is just rude. I never knew it was a problem to be a loyal customer that never complains, but apparently the workers here just want to have a job that requires not to work. We will just take our business elsewhere since it’s too much work dealing with guaranteed customers who get food multiple times a week.

For more than 50 years the Town Club has been serving Elk Rapids fine good and drink. The renovation is fantastic, modern with small town charm. Just had dinner 4/24/23, still great. Try the Home Run burger!

Stopped in for lunch at Town Club Bar and Grill while driving thru Elk Rapids. The fried chicken salad with dill dressing was reccomended and delish. Server was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was pub-ish with a sports theme. Will stop in again next time thru.

I don't get salad when you go to a bar but I'm telling you Town Club has the best Chicken Caesar salad on the planet. Burgers and wings fantastic as well. I know Town Club struggles to get a full staff but our food has always come out pretty quick and the staff they do have is excellent. Nice TVs for watching the games and the bar tenders know how to make awesome drinks. Town Club is a go to spot in Elk Rapids.
