“If you’re looking for authentic “Detroit Style” pizza, this is it. Square deep dish with a thick chewy crust and carmelized cheese that is crispy around the edges, and don’t even think about forgetting the sauce! So much flavor in the sauce! I love the classic pepperoni, but all the toppings are superb. You can’t beat the crunch of the crust with the melty creaminess of the cheese. This is an awesome pizza!“

“Absolutely delicious! We were thrilled to find this restaurant (we hosted a student from Argentina and for sure he would have agreed this is easily deserving of 5 stars!). We live in Troy, but we have family in Northville and we now stop by every time we are in the area so we can bring home a dozen of these wonderful empanadas. “Red Wood Grill is an underrated gem in the Waterford area. Solid service with good quality food. A bar and dining area with great atmosphere and decor. The brisket egg rolls are super creative and phenomenal. What was most impressive was the relatively low price especially for barbecue. Also, an added bonus that we found attractive was the amazing smell throughout the whole restaurant as the smoker was right out front and in plain smelling and viewing distance!“

“Food and drink was delicious! My fiance and I tried the curry donut, the strawberry lemon croissant, the breakfast croissant, the mochi donut, and the rice with red bean donut.

The croissants were so soft, not dry at at all which impressed me a lot. I have had previous bad impressions of croissants so I never want them, but this changed my perspective entirely! So soft, a little chewy, with a great flake!

The mochi donut and rice donut were so chewy and fun to eat while tasting absolutely amazing - I love how dense they are while still feeling light.

The curry donut was so soft and fluffy and the crisp on the outside was immaculate. Incredible!

The gochujang lemonade wasn't spicy at all and tasted delicious, the perfect amount of tang. The barista helped me choose a caramel frappe and it was delectable.

From the moment you walk in, the location and decoration create such a welcoming vibe it’s stylish but felt remarkably quiet and peaceful, which I really appreciated.

The service is where they truly shine. They clearly know what they’re doing here. We were looked after by a young man named Drew, who was incredibly kind and professional. His service was 'on-point' the entire time attentive without being intrusive.

As for the food, it was delicious. I ordered the pasta, and it was exactly what I was hoping for yummy, fresh, and they nailed the spice level perfectly. I also had the village salad, which was a great, fresh pairing.

“Have been living in the area for a few years and it is always hopping every time I drive by. Decided to stop there yesterday with my husband. They had an overwhelming selection to choose from. Almost too many options my husband said. They had flurries, ice cream, shakes, frozen yogurt, frozen drinks, frozen coffee, and even physical ice cream packages. They had so many flavors as well. I personally loved how many options they had. I got the frozen yogurt with salted caramel and my husband got strawberry shortcake flurry. There was actual strawberry shortcake in the flurry!
