Waited forever to be seated even tho one of the hibachi tables was empty. After being seated I noticed how filthy everything was. Chairs and table covered in grease and fuzz and sticky. Grill edges covered in old rice and eggs and random stains. Employees putting dirty dishes on the freshly set table. Waited 40 more minutes until the chef finally came out. The food was decent tasting but expensive for quality/amount. At some point during the meal I got up to use the restroom and a male employee followed me into the women’s room and left before they thought I would notice. Needless to say due to the filth, the price, the creepy and ill-trained staff, we will not be back. There are much better places to spend your money in downtown Fenton.

Have a cocktail menu but never any liquor. Always say next month. Been 6 months.

The food is amazing on the hibachi grill. Plus there's so much, a great value. Our waiter and chef were both great. A bit crowded and noisy but we really enjoyed ourselves.

Food was good, waitress wasnt really warm and fuzzy, kind of cold and clearly in a rush. Felt like we weren’t moving fast enough for her. Hibachi cook was great, no complaints. The thing that really bothered me was how dirty the chairs were. They need a heavy degrease & dusting, they were absolutely DISGUSTING. The picture doesn’t even show how horrible they looked.

It's unbelievable how amazing this place is. It's a triple threat, service from Maddie she didn't miss a beat. Plus, they put on an amazing show from the Hibachi chef. They are actually super funny, and the food can't be beat, especially the sushi 😋 was amazing. Highly recommend. Please ask for Maddie, you won't be disappointed and you will thank me later. Enjoy!

Mother's Day was a joke. Tried to order online and they canceled the order. Went to the restaurant and what a total cluster. Sushi chefs standing around. Obviously backed up on orders because of the constant DINGING of online orders in background. Lobby full of angry customers and delivery drivers. We tried.

Where to start… Booked a reservation 2 days in advance for my fiancés birthday at 7PM to be part of the hibachi table. We walk in & they say it’s going to be a few minutes, sure no problem. 7:20 comes around & they start calling names to join the Hibachi table.. our name was not called.

I then walk up to the host station & ask if we were supposed to be at that table & am told that we have to wait until people clear from a separate table. Mind you, no “sorry for your wait or inconvenience” was ever mentioned. I then ask if we can atleast order a drink while we wait.

More time goes by & it’s now 7:30 & not once did the host, gm, or tshirt guy who appears to be the owner ever come by to apologize or smooth things over. Most of this situation could’ve been avoided. THE WHOLE POINT OF A RESERVATION IS TO RESERVE A TABLE. Anybody can take a reservation, but good lord atleast live up to it.

To put a bow on this story it’s now close to 7:40 & after finishing our drinks I get up & say they can pull our reservation & that we’re leaving. You would’ve thought I had slapped their child.. They finally start opening their mouths & saying that the table is finally cleared. I reiterate that I called 2 days in advance for a 7PM reservation for a birthday & it’s 40 minutes past due. We walked across the street & had a wonderful meal at Andiamo’s.

With all the other options that Fenton offers, we will not be coming back here. Mind you, my fiancé had been talking about going to Saganos for months & actually chose this place to go to of all places for her birthday.

OK, so the lunch prices are definitely better than the dinner prices. But still you get a lot of food for what you pay. I always eat at the hibachi side. And the chefs are always very talented and definitely put on a show for you. They’re cooking your food. I really like the soup that comes with the meal and I don’t like the salad so they let me get double soup without an up charge. For some reason, the peanut sauce on the salad Taste weird to me. It is a $2.50 up charged if you want fried rice.. one time we ordered sushi and she brought me the wrong thing so that was gonna awkward. Overall whenever I go there, the service is always really good but expect to be paying $20-$30 a person. If you tell them if your birthday, they’ll do some weird kind of drum thing and sing for you.

Shoutout to our chef! I came in with a dairy allergy and deeply appreciate how seriously the staff took my allergy! It felt so nice to go out to eat and not have to worry about what I was having! Thank you!

We went for the first time for my brothers birthday. Unfortunately the table was one hour late but the manager offered us appetizers for free and a cupom because of the wait, it was pretty NICE! The food was amazing and a LOT of food, the service was exceptional too

Wow — Sagano absolutely blew me away. From Macomb to Fenton, I haven’t found another hibachi spot that even comes close. I passed every other place on the way because I wanted to find the restaurant I could rely on for all my hibachi dinners, family gatherings, and celebrations — and this is it.

The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff made the entire experience feel special. But the real star was the food — incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and honestly the best hibachi I’ve ever had.

I’d gladly drive an hour any day just to eat here. Thank you, Sagano, for an exceptional experience.
