Was looking forward to having a girls dinner here. We have never felt more rushed or unwelcome in a restaurant. Our bread, appetizers, and entrees all came out in 20 minutes flat and they started reaching around us to clean up 40 minutes before closing.

Service very slow on all levels. Food also not very good. Chicken Francese used to be excellent at this restaurant, this evening salty and barely warm. I was told by waitress that they were short of help. Unfortnately, you pay money for this?????? Won't return!

Haven't been here in years. Thought it was so/so back then but loved the city vibe. But then, a group of friends decided to meet there for dinner this evening. So glad we did! Service was wonderful. The new owner came over and introduced herself. They took over from the retiring owners this past August. The food was fresh, delicious and portions were generous. Calimari appetizer was to die for! Loved the grape leaves and the Brie salad. Others in our party had the scallops and risotto. Can't go wrong with the flatbreads. We'll be back. Loved it!!! (The dirty martini was excellent)...prices were reasonable.

Literally stumbled upon this place during a romantic evening stroll with my girlfriend ?! Shared a bottle of wine from South Africa. We had already eaten dinner but there were items on the menu that smelled and looked so appetizing! We will be back very very soon!Parking: Very accessible parking, lot right behind the restaurant.

Had a lovely light dinner and wine on the patio. Waiter attentive- maybe a bit overly so as he kept interrupting conversation. However can't Really complain about getting attention from a waiter. Had a cucumber soup that was amazing and NOT cream based- insane right? Then had mussels which were amazing!! Will definitely go back.

The food was amazing and the service was even better! We got to sit in the outside back patio which is gorgeous. Everyone working in the back came by to say hello, ask if everything was okay, refill waters, etc. Truly such kind and amazing service. This is a great place to have celebrations. A bit pricy but the food and service made it worth it! We had the calamari, lamb chops and the cioppino. Def the best calamari and lamb chops I had. My partner said the cioppino is perfect for seafood lovers! We will def be back. Checkout a video I took on my Ig blog: @samihasaidit of this beautiful place!

A really excellent experience. Great atmosphere on the patio. Friendly staff. The food was perfectly prepared. The duck and the accompaniments were tasty and meaningfully prepared. Tasted like apricot in my lentil and couscous. Probably the best meal I’ve had in Ferndale. Very reasonably priced. Ample portions. Looking forward to my next time here.

The service was good, staff friendly. Menu Choices were limited and the sauce on my pasta was a little watery. For the most part everything was great.

Usually I write my Yelp reviews within 24 hours of visiting an establishment so I can remember every detail. Unfortunately, I waited a little too long on this one, so some of the details are a little vague, but I'll give it my best shot. We wanted a nice spot for our Mother's Day dinner, but a lot of places focus on brunch and aren't even open for dinner. This seemed like a nice spot in Ferndale that was actually open and we always like Italian, so we decided to give it a shot. As soon as we arrived, everyone on the staff was very friendly and welcoming and we were seated at a nice table by the window with a great view of the activity on 9 Mile. I'm not sure if this is a family run establishment, but we definitely got that vibe from the people we interactThe decor does not have a lot of personality, but there was nothing wrong with it...just kind of bland. We all shared a Caesar salad which was good. We also had the Arancini appetizer which was delicious. For entrees we had a variety of pizzas and pastas that were quite good. Definitely less trendy than other spots in Ferndale, but still quite tasty!

This was the most amazing experience I have ever had. The staff was so warm and welcoming, very friendly. I learned a whole lot about wine. The food was cooked to perfection and flavored just right.. totally authentic. Beautiful everything..

Enjoyed the Seafood Cioppino very much, will definitely order it again !! The servers were fabulous and the owners reminded me of my family in Italy.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! i don't know who this man was but he seemed to be lurking around all the tables and ask people if they're okay. I asked him for a box and he tried to ask what about my race in a distasteful way. When I said "can i have a box please" he told me I was mean. Why would someone at a restaurant call their guest mean. The waitress was nice. The food was average. Would not recommend this place for bad service.
