Had seen it online for happy year half off burger. So that's what I got. It was okay asked for medium and was over cooked. The beef used was good, the patty itself was dry due to being over cooked. It had little to no sauce on it. Which is upsetting couldn't even tatse it. The bun was good, toasted and soft. The fries was good cooked thoroughly and crispy. I had watched the one server wipe his nose with his hand and didn't wash it, did it again while I was leaving....

Great atmosphere and friendly service. My wife and I stopped in for appetizers and a drink. The drinks were great, one of the better Manhattans I've had. We ordered a couple appetizers and these were homemade appetizers, not corporate food nuggets, and they were both wonderful! We would definitely recommend a visit.

Barrel House is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Ferndale. It’s the perfect mix of a cozy neighborhood bar and an elevated American eatery. They have an incredible whiskey selection and consistently delicious food.

My regular go-tos are the chicken noodle soup (it tastes like home), the short rib sandwich—tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with fries and au jus—and the coney dog egg rolls, which are just plain fun and tasty.
