For a bartender who is so concerned with the “law” about ID, it’s funny that you would do a shot behind the bar. Good way to get fined IMHO. If you’re gonna be a stickler, make sure you’re on top of your game. First and last time I’ll ever come back unless you have bartenders who actually know how to be polite.

was excited to try a pub in downtown Ferndale.walked in and got hit with immediate stares, mentioned needing food and water and eventually an Irish mule. bartender proceeds to make said mule IMMEDIATELY, THEN tells us kitchen is closed.unable to drink on an empty stomach i payed 8.50 for a drink I didnt touch, and a very poor atmosphere, my only mistake was not walking away without a word or even entering the place

Had a drink and went to leave to find our car having problems. Went back in for another drink to wait for our ride only to get kicked out because our one friend (who doesn't drink) didn't have his ID on him. Even tho he was in there with us 20 mins before.. rude bartender. I've been here dozens of times having worked and lived close by and this makes me want to steer clear. Seems like I'm not the only one by the reviews.

I LOVE a good dive so I rate this place 10/10. You always have an experience here... it's never a night to forget. Although drinks are strong so you might LOL They've got popcorn, a full bar, jukebox, breeze vending machine, arcade games, cigs for sale, and a graffiti'd up bathroom. The bartenders are always pretty blunt and busy considering there's usually only 1-2 for the entire place. Everyone working is super nice there!! But you gotta be nice to them. Sometimes customers feel entitled to over-the-top smiles and favors. Here, if you are nice you're gonna get that back. But if you're a jerk, you're probably not gonna have a great time lol. I think it's totally justified. I've been to Danny's many many times and I'll always continue to come back!!

A real dive bar like you see in the movies.They always have two pinball machines, that seem to be well maintained.Drinks are strong and reasonably priced.Restrooms are ok.Service is fast.It's been there forever, and you can raise a toast to the old owner who's picture still hangs on the wall.Highly recommend.

Bar tender is very rude, ruined my experience. Won’t ever consider going back until she’s gone. I would HIGHLY recommend NEVER going here just for that. She will bring down any happy mood you come walking in with and ruin your night.
