Loved this restaurant! Rating 3 stars bc although it was so good and fun, I can’t really go there anymore like I used to. So sad they turned this into just an event space. Miss going for good food and a pitcher of margaritas

I first knew Detroit Fleat when it was a restaurant, and I always enjoyed relaxing on their patio with a refreshing drink during Michigan's warm months. When they transitioned to a space focused solely on events, I felt a bit sad. However, once I became pregnant, I knew I wanted to host my baby shower at Detroit Fleat! I hosted my daughter’s first birthday party at Detroit Fleat and I don’t think we could have had a better experience. The venue is fun and colorful and has a great outdoor area. It was perfect for a birthday party and didn’t need to be dressed up too much (or at all). We had two food trucks (Gambino Pizza Truck and Kona Ice) that fit in perfectly outside.
