Amazing food and fantastic staff.
I used to smash their Pulled Pork Po Boy at least twice a week when I lived in the area. Absolute 🔥!
I love this place and the people who took care of us. We had a party of ten and everything was very good. What stood out to me the most was how out of the way the employees went for us. I ordered something to go also and paid for it and forgot about it and left in a hurry because I had the tickets for an event we were attending on the next block. Howe's Bayou is a small but welcoming place where you’ll feel like family. The Blackened Catfish with Shrimp Etouffee is delicious, and the Gumbo Ya-Ya is excellent. The food is amazing, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. The food is well seasoned without being greasy and still having a crunch, with really reasonable prices. The decor is superb with many nods to the New Orleans heritage and a real tin ceiling. The service is terrific and outstanding, with warm and efficient staff who go above and beyond. Drinks are cold, and the overall experience is memorable. Many customers say it’s a little slice of New Orleans in Michigan, and they highly recommend visiting.
