The Java Hutt is a great place not only to get a hot or cold drink but also has fantastic food items for breakfast and lunch. Their varieties of pastries and treats are fresh and delicious. Java Hutt's baristas are friendly and helpful. Java Hutt's atmosphere is very clean and comfortable. If you are in the area, make it a point to stop at the Java Hutt! You won't be disappointed.
This coffee shop on W. 9-Mile in Ferndale is a nice place to stop, relax, have a coffee and perhaps get some work done. I also like the hours as it is open into the evening on Fridays and Saturdays. We walked in at around 8 PM on a Friday at which time the place was surprisingly empty. We got coffees, juices for the kids and a thick piece of Banana Coffee Bread to share. The service was very good, the seating area was comfortable (we used the sofas which featured plenty of padding)...
I love that they’re open until later in the day, the coffee and chai are always good, there’s different seating options with plugs. The food is pretty basic. Where they could definitely improve is the cleanliness of the place.
