Top notch Indian, very clean and well run

This is the second time you forgot to add white rice to a butter chicken order. You also forgot chutneys for the pakora. I paid for it twice. Now you'll pay for it with this review.

There are equal if not better indian places near you in ferndale that have the mental capacity to add rice to an order.

I ordered at least monthly from this location since it opened. Not anymore if you can't figure it out. Best of luck with your rice problem.

Great food, we had the butter chicken and curry chicken, as well as lamb samosas and garlic and cheese naan. Everything was fresh and delicious, with great portions. Tazul was an excellent server.

The server, Tazul, was extremely friendly and the place was clean, bright, and the music was wonderful :3. We ordered all vegetarian options (saag paneer and mutar paneer) and they were delicious, and the naan was perfectly baked and buttery (much better than some naan I’ve had at other Indian restaurants). Overall wonderful experience, definitely recommend.

Tonight, me, Alicia, and Scott went to Noorjahan for dinner — and honestly, I’m still recovering from how good it was. Not just the food (which was amazing), but our server Tazul, who deserves his own Michelin star, a raise, and possibly a fan club.

Let’s start with the food:

Chicken Tikka Masala (my go-to every single time) — creamy, perfectly spiced, basically edible happiness.

Alicia’s Chicken Korma — rich, smooth, like the butter of the gods.

Scott’s Coconut Chicken — one bite and he stopped talking mid-sentence, which is the highest praise possible.

The Garlic Naan and Onion Naan — dangerously addictive. If you’re sharing, order two. Trust me.

Now, back to Tazul — the man, the myth, the legend. This guy runs the floor like a pro, with a smile that could power the restaurant if the lights ever went out. Attentive but never hovering, funny but never fake, and honestly, just handsome enough to cause a minor distraction. He made the whole evening feel like we were dining somewhere special — not just eating out.

You know how sometimes service makes or breaks a restaurant? Tazul doesn’t just make it — he elevates it. Noorjahan, if you’re reading this, please clone him immediately.
