I was visiting Detroit and this place was kinda outta the way, but I have a car and some time so I decided to drive there and I'm glad I did! The beet sandwich that was on special was amazing. Seriously, so good. The staff was friendly. They have a nice selection of baked goods to look at (and eat) on the counter too.

My go-to for delicious lunch take-out. Unique vegan and vegetarian options, (I usually choose the dairy cheese, and my vegan sister gets the full-vegan and loves it).
As an omnivore myself, I love having an option this great for when I'm dining with my more plant-based friends, and at Spacecat, it never feels like I'm compromising. The food here is delicious, whith great comfort food options for this snowy weather, and I love the weekly specials; they keep the menu fresh.
The only downside s that a few of the staff, while sweet and friendly, don't seem very well trained, which leads to sometimes very spotty service and slowness, but to be fair, thats pretty common with restaurants in this area, so if you can roll with that, you wil LOVE this place, whether you are vegan or not.

SIMPLY AMAZING VEGAN FOOD!!!! I have been vegan for 7 years and when I travel I always seek out local restaurants. This is one of the absolute best I've found- everything is fresh, flavorful and their comfort foods are spot on. Best vegan cheesesticks you will ever find. Period. Their taco mac n chese and neatballs are phenomenal, cookies, biscuits and lemon blueberry cake were all fresh and wonderful. If you want homemade, delicious vegan comfort food, this is your place!!!! And the ladies there were so friendly and nice too. Wish I lived closer!!!

The food was great, but i definitely felt uncomfortable. I first walked in and no one greeted me, I didn't know that seating was first come, first serve until a customer told me. Once I took a seat, it took a second to still be acknowledged. As i started to put my coat on to leave, a waitress finally came and started to take care of me. While waiting on my food, i noticed that everyone that came in after me was treated better as soon as they walked in the door. Food took a while to come out, but was delicious. Once I got home I realized that I was overcharged for my meal ( this part is my fault for choosing not to get a receipt.) I most likely won't be back.

Everyone was very friendly, customer service was outstanding. I had the Breakfast Bomb and my wife had the Quesadilla. Both were outstanding. We also shared a slice of coconut cake which also did not disappoint. Atmosphere was fun. Highly recommend!

Nice cafe-like atmosphere. The ladies were nice, but very slow service. The jalapeño grilled “cheese” sandwich was delicious as were the “fries” and Kale slaw. The mac n cheese was very underwhelming and I won’t order it again. Prices are reasonable. Bathroom was clean.

Our party of 4 ordered the brunch quesadilla, chkn and waffle sandwich, cheddar shredder special, and the biscuits and gravy special (my personal fav). Everything was delicious and excellent quality. The housemade "meats" and sauces were impressive- so flavorful! Coffee and desserts were also great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the atmosphere and humorous cat-themed decor and menu. We can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I visited today, 11/8/24 for our first time. We had a phenomenal experience here and the food was incredible!!! We got the chicken N waffles with brunchy sweet potatoes. It was extremely worth it!!! We also tried the salted brown butter chocolate chip cookies which were honestly one of the best cookies we've ever had!!! The service was delightful as well!!! By the way, the entire menu is vegetarian/vegan and everything is made IN HOUSE!!! We will absolutely be visiting here more often!!!

Goodness, the best vegan spot out there! Food was so good and tasted so much more "clean" than other restaurants that use premade/store bought alternatives. All the menu offerings are so fresh and unique, so truly refreshing to see compared to the usual vegan offerings. Atmosphere is fun too, although very cramped and small.

Everything is made fresh from scratch, and you can really taste the difference. I honestly think it's the best vegan food l've ever had. The staff is welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. This place has quickly become my favorite spot. If you're looking for amazing, flavorful vegan food, you have to check it out!
