This place is a perfect Ferndale gem! The cafe itself has a lot of space and light. The staff we interacted with were all very polite and helpful. Love that they use local produce and have a revolving menu to reflect what's seasonally available AND that they host their own farmers market outside on Saturdays! They always have at least one vegan option on the menu, and vegan choices are clearly marked.
They have a rotating vegan sandwich - I think I’ve had every single one they’ve done and they’ve all been fantastic (though the most recent, the Later Tater, is my favorite). Best and most interesting vegan sandwiches in all of metro Detroit!
I finally got the chance to try Tall Trees thanks to their newer extended hours! I was greeted by Tori who was super kind and helpful - they even had great recommendations for me and were able to answer all the questions I had about the menu. As someone who is plant based I loved that there were options for me! I tried the Later Tater which was scrumptious and flavorful with every bite!
