First time really experiencing a local whisky and David made our first experience so amazing and memorable from the moment we walked in with a warm greeting to the endless education and tips on the drinks we had no clue about. Prices were great and so was the products

One of my favorites spots as I love Bourbon. I like that I can order from Como's next door while getting drinks here.

Stiff, well made, decent priced drinks. Cool mellow ambiance. Great Music. Dave the Bartender takes great care of you.

Dave is the best bartender in town. The whole place is a great vibe any day of the week.

Okay, so I had a very strange experience. The service was terrible. I sat down and for 30 mins , no one showed at the table to even ask for water. At some point after we gestured, the guy from the bar came over and took my order.
Where I found he experience harrowing was when I ordered a Manhattan and when i asked a follow up question to clarify my order, the server smirked and replied rudely followed by a deliberate glace at his watch. I am still kt sure what that was about.

I felt a little insulted. I will not be coming back

The drink however was fantastic.

Was in Ferndale to see a show at the Magic Bag and had some time to kill. The drinks were fabulous, the atmosphere was comfortable but the standout of the whole experience was our bartender Patrick B. He was friendly and attentive. But most of all he was able to recommend the best place to sit/be for a show at the Magic Bag. He made our night!

Drinks are amazing! Tasty and the bar staff is friendly, they share their recipes. Get a jar of marichino cherries to go. They mix well in soda, juice, very tasty. The only issue I have is the uncomfortable seating. The backless barstools are slippery and uncomfortable. I guess it's a way to stop overindulgence? Lol. If they would get more comfortable bar stools I'd give the extra star. It's a cool place.

We love TCWC in Traverse City so we were happy to find the Outpost closer to home. It offers a similar, cozy environment to hang out with good food from next door. The drinks are always made perfectly and the rotating specials are always good.

David made awesome drinks, was personable and very knowledgeable about ingredients and drinks!! It's a must stop!!

Best cherry whiskey around. Atmosphere is fun and inviting and the staff know their whiskey. It’s a fun place to get a few drinks or buy a bottle to take home.
