We love TCWC in Traverse City so we were happy to find the Outpost closer to home. It offers a similar, cozy environment to hang out with good food from next door. The drinks are always made perfectly and the rotating specials are always good.

We had a disappointing experience due to the extremely poor service provided by one of their bartenders on Saturday March 2nd. From the moment we sat down it was evident that she had no interest in serving the 4 of us. She walked off while we were trying to communicate with her and had a rude expression on her face throughout our interaction. Despite complimenting her, she blatantly ignored us. It was also noticeable how attentive she was to other customers at the other end of the bar which made us feel neglected and unimportant. Overall her behavior was unprofessional and complete ruined what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. Although the drinks were very good, the service was very poor.

Just picked up a bottle of straight bourbon whiskey. I’m traveling /working . Picked up the bottle from Sam’s club lol. But lemme tell ya !! It’s great !!! Smooth tasty and quality stuff . Nice finish !!! Thanks everyone at traverse City whiskey Company?don’t hate I’m drinking out of plastic at a hotel ?

I love restaurants that make it super easy to stop in with large groups without the hassle. I was with about 15 women on a Saturday night and we really wanted to have drinks and chill out. Traverse City Whiskey Co. Outpost welcomed us with open arms, allowed us to order and pay separately as well. This automatically gives them five stars alone because this is so hard to do in most places! I ordered the wings, they were delicious, and the whiskey flight which was amazing. Our server was kind, customer friendly and patient with my group as well. Thank you all so much, I for sure will be back!

TCW-Outpost is quickly becoming my go-to spot for good vibes, great cocktails - and quality service. The most recent visit (that prompted this review) was with a friend who hadn't been there before; we'd stopped at another bar first, but after the first drink there I said, "Oh shoot, what are we doing here - we're just down the street from TCW, let's finish out the night there...!" How lucky we were that David (the Outpost's regularly-posted Bartender) was working, offering attentive and smooth service. He really knows how to showcase the TCW lineup with both on-menu and special-request cocktails. Not only does he exhibit an underlying professionalism and competency in his job but also the important ability to engage with the guest and form memorable connections and experiences every time - A true 'brand ambassador'...! Too much in life has sadly become 'self-checkout', so having a clean, classy and reliable spot with engaging staff facilitating good drink-experiences has made TCW-Outpost a must-do anytime I'm in Ferndale. I'll be bringing more friends with me to share this great spot in the future!

We pay a lot for drinks to be ignored by bartenders less than 2 feet from us. Service is slow and unfriendly for a Whiskey room that should be enjoyable and educational. No one is even trying to sell you anything..TCW management you can't please everyone but please tell your bartenders to smile a little. It goes a long way
