I have been visiting this cafe with my grandma for a long time. We will go to the Art Institute specifically to get sandwiches from them, as we did today. Today, I got the chicken pesto sandwich and a half cup of the Thai chicken and rice soup. I'd post pictures, but they're both definitely long gone. Their portion sizes are great for a filling lunch, the service is always kind (and patient with the pace of slower elders), and I love that my 9yo now loves pesto, haha....
I tried the veggie wrap today and was positively surprised. Very good, lots of flavor. Recently, I tried the veggie wrap at Steady Eddie's at the Flint Farmers Market and the Palette Cafe is far better, hands down. Less expensive, as well. Kudos to the great staff at the FIA's Palette Cafe!
I’ve been visiting the Flint Institute of Arts museum for years and have been ordering the London Fog Lavender tea from The Palette Cafe.
