So so very sad to see this wonderful neighborhood place close!!! We absolutely loved coming here!!!! No other place like it! It will truly be missed! I only hope the new owners don’t change the coziness of it! There are plenty of big bars and restaurants around!
This was my family of 5 first visit to FG. The food was very satisfying. We started the night with the sweet chilli shrimp, which was a hit for everyone at the table. Then, I ordered ribs with side salad and the chicken picata. The children had bolegnes and chicken strips (typical). Server Sidney was very welcoming. Ate outside in the enclosed all seasons dining facility. Be prepared for a abundance of food. Most entrees will serve two. Wednesday is bbq ribs night. Two racks of well prepared ribs easily served three people with enough left over for another another meal.I had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes, gravy. and spinach. Just barely finished half and brought the other half home. Everything was served hot and well presented. A great dinning experience for al.
