“This is one of the best burgers I had. I always get my burgers with only one topping to see how good the burger and bun really is. You can eat this burger plane, and your tongue will still slap you in your face. Im sure the sauces are amazing, just not for me. The owner is weird. The 5* is strictly on the food“

“I've been here for dinner and the food is fabulous. The bacon cheeseburger YUMMy friend and I went on a Friday for fish and chips.... That was also fabulous!Seasoned fries and the coleslaw was good.Our waitress had a great personality. “Stopped in on our way to watch our hometown London Knights defeat the Flint Firebirds in round 1 of the 2024 Playoffs. What an amazing find this place was. Food was excellent, Service was great, prices were good. Group of 5 of us dropped in and my sentiments are shared by all. I didn't catch our servers name (middle aged "ish" ?, kind of walked with a limp) but she was amazing. Kind of wish they served beer but other then that just wow.Thank you for hosting us“

“Looked up the best place for walleye. Never been here. Food was very good. Service was not very good. Took almost 20 minutes to get 3 beers once we sat down and ordered them. Then they gave us the wrong beer. Ordered Killians and got cherry wheat. Took another 16 minutes to get those replaced. Overheard the table next to us say this is an on going problem. The place wasn't even that busy. Not sure why it takes 36 minutes to get 3 glasses of beer.“

“I've been visiting Starlite since I was a child. I love the breakfast options and their burgers and coney dogs. The customer service has always been great, and the atmosphere is old-school, yet cozy. They are always pretty busy, but the food is made to order, and it comes out pretty quickly. Definitely recommend trying.“

“I eat at this place all the time It's right by my house and it's always packed but the customer services always good The ladies are always super friendly and the food tastes like it came from your own kitchen! The breakfast deals are the best they're cheap and you can round out all your corners you get an egg a toast a hash brown and a meat or two for around 10 bucks. The orange juice is a bit watery. The hash browns need a little more crisp but they give you plenty of them. It's a go-to for a sandwich also when you're on the go. Definitely get ham! It's not lunch meat ham It's like ham you would carve off at a holiday. Very tasty. Definitely worth a step.“

“Had a great lunch with family!! Super Impressed by the waitstaff and how attentive she was and food was excellent. Bar atmosphere that could use a little TLC booths are all ripped up. Only complaint is that most of our food came out at the same time, except for my brother in law's. We started eating cause it was taking so long and we were all half way done before his sandwich even came out. Not sure what the delay was. Bloody Mary Brunch was delicious!“

“Perfect gyros!We happened drive by over a year ago and ordered two gyros with feta added. They were delicious. The best gyros we had ever eaten were from Gyro King in the Chicago area back in 1980. We moved back to Michigan in 1981 and have been searching for a replacement ever since. After all these years we had finally found a place to get a perfect gyro in Michigan.What is a perfect gyro you ask? First, the pita bread has to be grilled to give it a little crunch. Being served a gyro on a soft pita out of a bread bag ruins the entire sandwich. The pita was grilled! 1 for 1!Next, the meat has to be sliced fresh off of one of the rotisserie broilers. Warmed up frozen meat from a food service is not only a disappointment, it’s tasteless, spongy, and not close to the real deal. The meat was freshly sliced! 2 for 2!Now we get to the sauce. A gyro with poor Tzatziki sauce is like a Mexican restaurant with poor chips and salsa. If they can’t get that right, your going to be disappointed with your meal. The Tzatziki sauce was delicious and it was served in the proportion to the other ingredients. 3 for 3!Onions and tomatoes completed a perfect gyro. My wife and I find that adding some feta gives the entire sandwich that little extra flavor that makes eating the sandwich a pleasurable experience well beyond any individual ingredient. 4 for 4!We were heart broken when we came by on follow up trips and they never seemed to be open. Last month we drove by and they were open! We spoke to the owner and he had only recently taken the restaurant back from the people they had sold it too. It was a family owned business and he was determined to bring it back. He has invested in updating the premises and I expect it will be nicer every time we visit.The sandwich is huge. No shortage of any ingredients when I’ve started to expect minimal amounts as restaurants try and keep prices down and still be profitable. Now for the best news of all. They are selling these for the ridiculous price of 2 for $10. With a nominal up charge for the feta, I can get 4 incredibly good gyros for $24 out the door tax and all. You’ll have to get one to believe it.They are drive up window only. They have a picnic table area but you’re going to eat it in your car. You are not going here for the decor or ambiance. You are going for the food and you won’t be sorry. They have other menu items including a “5 coneys for $10”but I can’t think of a reason not to order gyros of this quality when I get the chance so I haven’t tried anything else.I almost didn’t want to write this review as I didn’t want to share but they deserve credit for a great food item at a great price. Don’t wait, go today!“

“We made an order online. Everything was brought out to the car quickly with an elevated level of plating in excellent quality of packaging. The food received was accurate appetizing on first glance. “I gave them all 5 stars except on atmosphere because I went through the drive through, so I couldn't see it. But 2 night ago was my very first time going. I always pass it omw to work everyday, so this particular night, I was famished and needed food immediately.. The young lady at the window was so nice and friendly (give her a raise) she even went as far as to give me the number and circle it in the receipt for future visits. I ordered the club combo and the flavor was still in my mouth hours later. I'm going tonight again, but I haven't decided yet on what I want..For their menu is lots of great options.“

“I regret not taking pictures. It was 11:30am on a Sunday morning and I wasn't expecting much from a bar that early in the day. However, it went far beyond my expectations. The food was excellent. I ordered a cod sandwich. Fresh lettuce, fresh bun and home-made tartar sauce. It was very good. The onion rings were batter dipped and very yummy. My Long Island was right on point. “4.1.24 @ 1pm - I dined in with two kids and another adult. I ate here over 20 years ago! It's still open and serving delicious food with a smile. We all had breakfast. I ordered steak and eggs, kids had pancakes, mother had french toast. There were lots of sides to share like hash browns, toast, eggs, and even biscuits (waitress was nice enough to throw in the biscuits). The food was so tasty. My steak was moist, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everyone has compliments to the chef, waitress, cashier, and kind patrons as well. Great atmosphere. Money well spent plus they honor veterans. “Stopped in Sunday with a group for a quick bite before heading to the Machine Shop. The waitress was on it when we first arrived, however, we waited a long period of time for a group member's burger because she was busy talking with a person. My husband stood to go check on it and that's when she went to the kitchen to look for his food. The fried pickle spears were great! Overall, the service was great and we left a good tip.“

“Come here nearly everyday to get my fiancé lunch for his lunch break and today was a hair laying in one of the fries that was pubic size. Really upset and how can someone paying attention to their job correctly let this happen to a customer ???????? NOT ok !!! I did call the store and they are giving a remake of the order tomorrow ( chicken strips with fries) when I am able to get back to the store so I do appreciate this because this is a meal we get regularly at this location. Thank you to the manager for caring about this. Hoping the workers will be more careful preparing and handing food out after this incident.“

For $5 dollars you can get a burger chip combo. Caring atmosphere. This bar has come through for so many patrons, raising money for funerals And fundraisers after accidents. I've never seen a bar care so much about it's customers.“
