“The Bungalow is one of the places that is consistently mentioned among the top fish fries by locals but, despite being a local myself, I have somehow managed to have not been here. I could see how visitors could have a hard time finding this place. So, the food... We went there on a Friday for the fish fry. I had beer battered whitefish and my better half had the broiled half and half (half perch and half shrimp). We both agreed that our fish and get shrimp were very good. The portion of perch she received was a little wanting though. The slaw and potato salad were both very good. The beans were good but came lukewarm like they had been microwaved. I'd rather has cold beans or hot ones but warm ones that are cold in the middle aren't great. The fries left a lot to be desired. Kind of soggy and a lot of little bits in both our orders. The service was very friendly but there was some confusion because our order was brought by a different waitress than the one who took our order so when I asked a question she couldn't answer it. It's a personal thing but I like having the same server throughout. I know, picky right? They did a fun little thing and gave us a "shot of dessert". Basically a piece of cookie in a shot glass. Just a little sweet to wrap up your meal. Nice touch. Overall, I would definitely go back and would recommend this place simply on the strength of the fish and hope that the little issues I had were just flukes. When I go back if things are different I will definitely let you know here but for now, go and enjoy some fish. 3.6 stars“

“Fantastic service; with great food. Place is what you'd expect for a bar/grill. Tables are crowded and it is noisy but it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is; a tasty burger joint with a great selection of drinks.“

“Rapid River Pizza did not disappoint ?. I have been waiting over a year to try their pizza and was very satisfied with a great crispy yet tender crust and loads of gooey melted cheese and planty of toppings. Drinks were good, and the waitress was very high-spirited, going out of her way to give a description of food items and service. We'll be back.“

“Little Dated . But food was very good. Had a steak sandwich and fries and soup. All very good but portions were to big to finish all. Had to bring it home. Staff friendly and punctual and on top of it.Parking: Gravel parking lot but plenty of spaceWheelchair accessibility: Ground level entrance and all on one floor that I could see of. Open floor plan for most part. Definitely wheelchair accessible.“

“A classic in Rapid River. Cool decor inside and well kept. Great prices and our food was really good. We were here on a taco night a while ago and really enjoyed our meal. “We attended a large family dinner at the Ludington Grill in Escanaba Michigan, while vacationing over Christmas. As can be expected during any, multi-generational gathering, hiccups happen, and were quickly attended too. All in all, the Service, Atmosphere, and Food were Excellent. Thanks, we will return!!!“

“I get food at Cat's frequently because, well, I've simply never been disappointed with their fare. This evening I tried their Po' Boy sandwich. It's a new addition to their menu. I am extremely finicky when it comes to seafood and RARELY ever order it, preferring to cook it myself. Cat's Po' Boy, however, was spot on delicious! The fish was cooked just right, light with a crispy crunch. The remoulade was a wonderful taste sensation that rounded out the complete sandwich. Coupled with the Parm crusted chips it was a delightful meal I am looking forward to having again. Do yourself a favor and give Cat's a try next time you are hankering for a tasteful experience at mealtime.“
