Sushi is kind of hit or miss but when it’s good it’s very good and fresh.

Food was not hot, no flavor and over-priced. The view was great but wait staff not friendly. I was very disappointed.

We loved the location of the restaurant, with the beautiful, waterfront views! All four of us ordered perch for dinner. It was the worst perch we had ever eaten!!! It was very poked, very dry & the batter was good, either. Very disappointed.

Not sure what happened to the amazing chef they got last year, but tonight’s food was tasteless and bland. The food came out cold. Sweet potato fries were literally cold. The Chicken Corden Bleu wrap was missing the Swiss cheese and there was a tiny sliver of ham in it. We came three other times this year and the food was good. Not this time. The Crab Rangoon Dip came out so cold, it was congealed and separating. The wine tasted old. The Pretzel Cheese sauce was cold. All in all, if you don’t mind overpaying for bland and cold food, this is the place. On a good note, our waiter was very kind and accommodating.

To start off, the food and view were both amazing. I got the roast beef club, my all time favorite, and my friends got various items from the “Mexican” side of the menu. They all enjoyed their food. However, the reason that I’m only rating this 2/5 is because of their music choice. With the constant playing of steel drums I couldn’t have been more thrilled to receive the check. Please get a better music choice, it drove my friends and I crazy.

Our server was great, as was the view. We sat on the patio waterfront. The food was good, but not great.

We have tried Snug Harbor on two different occasions. Each time, the food has been very disappointing and very overpriced. The Fiesta bowl I ordered had rice that was not fully cooked, and the portion was very small. The Thai salad another person had was just shredded lettuce with not much else. Adding chicken to it was an additional $9.00 bringing the cost for the salad to $24.00. Even the beer we ordered was flat. The view is great, but the food needs some serious work.

Horribly rude staff!! I’ve never been treated so poorly. Get your views from the boardwalk and your food from somewhere else!

Great food and great service! With them being right on the water on the ground floor of Snug Harbor, you can now reserve a table next to the river for fireworks & the musical fountain for Independence Day and other special occasions!

We went there on a nice summer night. The whole staff was wonderful and we got a very nice table. We ordered sushi as a starter and it was cutting-edge. I was sure this place deserves 5 stars. Then the mains came. My wife ordered a salat which was basically coleslaw and I had an Asian dish wish was not better or more creative than at a regular Chinese place. $28 was way too fancy price. But still it is a solid place to go to

Sat in basement by fireplace - average setting at best - server seemed very out of sorts. The food was average at best and the prices were very high for what you get. Example: ordered appetizers crab fritters for 6 you get 3 very small ones and the whitefish dip came out with like 6 little crackers. $32 for two appetizers was absolutely ridiculous. Will never eat there again will try something else.

Food was average. A bit overpriced especially for the kids Kraft Mac n cheese. My fish was good but cold. The do not have accommodations for elderly people.

Our friend took us ( 6 of us) here by boat and we were seated and served by Cindy who was terrific. The drinks came quickly as did our food. I ordered the shrimp and fries and also the beet and Burrata ( to share) as I love a salad. Everyone enjoyed the food but when the bill came I was staggered at the amount of tip that we were expected to pay. It was our first visit to the States since Covid and my goodness, how things have changed in the service industry. We would recommend the restaurant to everyone and visit again but possibly give the overpriced drinks a miss.

Was visiting Grand Haven and decided to eat at Snug Harbor resturant and enjoy the channel. Ordered the Baked Trout which was good but way overpriced and a NI Bourbon Old Fashion which I thought was the worst drink I ever had, way overpriced for the size of the glass. Not sure on the rest of the dinners there. I do enjoy visiting GH but will not be going back to that resturant.
