Pronto Pups is a Grand Haven staple. The restaurant serves only pronto pups, which are not corn dogs—they have thinner batter and are not corn based. The pups are lightly breaded, cooked to perfection, and taste fresh straight out of the fryer. They are crispy, salty, beefy, and tangy with mustard. As of spring 2026, a pup costs $2 each. The staff are always super friendly. The atmosphere is great, with a beautiful water channel and a view right next to the beach. There is always a line, and the wait can be up to 45 minutes, but the affordable prices and delicious food make it a must stop.
