Seriously. This location gives Panera a bad rap. Every.Single.Time. It’s so bad that I wait about 6 mos to return with hopes that they might have turned things around or changed ownership.

The latest visit was no different. The Men’s bathroom is foul- even when attempting to touch nothing with your hands- the faucet handles are greasy and have pubes around the base. The sink area in general is disgusting and appears to have been that way for a long period. If you do manage to wet your hands you can follow that up with no paper towels as well. You could deficate on the floor here and it would feel natural and track with surroundings. In an attempt to notify the older woman cleaning the dining area- she pretended to not hear my voice and turned away. I repeated myself and asked if she could indeed hear me. She acknowledged and I let her know the bathroom is in very poor shape. She told me she would notify a manager. At this point we had our food at the table, ready for consumption. While eating and in my direct view- the woman began removing the trash bin from the cabinet- pretty normal task I figured. However, the garbage bags were placed on the floor next to a table of women. She left the bags and proceeded to place new bag after new bag (times x6) into the bin. Once finished she took the full garbage bags and picked them up 3 feet and rammed them against the floor as if to compact the trash. This went on several times right next to the full table. I was nearly finished with my sandwich after front row viewing of this crass, tasteless performance from the staff. I decided to walk back to front counter to make sure the bathroom issue was addressed. I was then told “Well, I cannot go in there because I’m a female. I will let mgmt know.” I also made a comment about the woman ‘cleaning up’ the dining room. The same girl tells me, “Yeah, we have gotten a ton of complaints about her.”

There’s something seriously amiss at this location and I will have to assume the management is to blame. I myself, will never enter this establishment again until there is proof of new ownership.

I came in a few weeks ago around evening, and I caught the heavier set female manger smoking WEED in the bathroom. Sick to my stomach… is this supposed to be a family friendly environment?? I’ve also come in a few times the fast few months and heard the workers swearing and talking about drinking and drugs… who’s running this operation.. disgusting

Chicken on my sandwich was very chewy. But honestly the only reason I'm leaving this review is the men's restroom is disgusting. Do better Panera! Neither the sink nor toilet appears to have been cleaned in days, and they have a 1989 paper towel dispenser that you actually have to rotate the side knob to dispense. What year is this?!?!? Gross!

Probably the worst Panera Bread in the area. Stood in line forever. Watched the elderly cashier fumble around and acting like she couldn’t process what she was doing. We finally had enough and left. Will not be going back to this Panera.

Was studying quietly on my computer here for maybe 30 minutes and got kicked out.

I enjoy the food here, and I like that it's close to home.
However, I tried to place and order at the counter last Tuesday and the manager Dom wouldn't even look at me to take my order. I would understand, but she had been taking a line of orders and couldn't be bothered to even say hello and ask me to wait. Is this how we get treated after we stop working there?

Every time I go through the drive through it takes forever. I’m talking about 15-30 just to get my order, and with the curb on the right you get trapped so you can’t change your mind or leave if you’re late to anything else. If this continues I will be choosing to eat elsewhere.

Just went through the drive through. There was one car ahead of me, already at the window. I ordered a group chicken noodle soup. I waited 20min to finally move up and get the food. When I got home, there was essentially just broth in the soup. For nearly $30 that’s crazy. Not sure why this location is so bad. Every time I go to this one, it’s always the same.

We went to the Grand Haven Panera Bread drive-thru and ordered 4 toasted bagels--2 with cream cheese and 2 with butter. The cashier was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and politely answered our questions. The order was ready quickly and was accurate. The bagels and cream cheese were delicious and the service was above average. Very pleased!

I liked the flavor of the walnut and cranberry chicken sandwich, but it had more tomatoes than anything else. It had about half a tablespoon of the chicken salad on the entire sandwich. I was very disappointed. It wasn't close to being worth $12.
