Food is okay at best- maybe because it's the off season.We ordered the mushrooms and the mushrooms themselves were tasty- melting the pile of cheese until its nearly impossible to cut through made is less appealing.I also ordered the seafood pasta and for the price, it would have been nice to have more than one shrimp in it. It also had a ton of melted cheese on top that was hard to cut through when it arrived (maybe the cheese is a pattern, but the amount truly takes away from the dish- and that's saying something because I LOVE cheese)Overall, the location is great- good views, but I wouldn't take my out of town family here for a meal.

Had to change my review after tonight's mess. I had made a reservation but on arrival the kid at the host station said they got busy so they gave our table away. Our server was terrible, forgot to put in my order so I sat while the rest of our table ate.She said she'd comp my meal, then replied that a reservation is just that and not a guarantee you'll have a table. Strange concept, why bother to make one then. Or let your patrons make one. Another server apologized for everything, but the damages were already done. Sad, used to be a place we enjoyed to dine at. One of the rare few available that were good on the Lakeshore.Not sure we'll be coming back if this is what can be expected.

Unacceptable service provided by Beth. We came in on a Wednesday and we were pretty much the only ones in the restaurant, so I know she wasn’t busy. She was rude to us for no reason, had snarky remarks throughout our meal when we were nothing but nice. As I handed her the check with my card she said “Oh! You guys are paying after all.” (???) I’m sorry, but my 7 friends and I will not be returning.

The view was wonderful; we watched the sunset from our table! Very nice ambiance; lighting was very nice and it was a romantic spot for our anniversary dinner. The grilled chicken plate was really good. The service wasn’t great—food took a while to come out and they forgot my carrots so I never got them. Our server was well below average and didn’t really know what she was doing. I had to walk up to her to get the check as well as to pay. Overall, I would still go back because the view was great, and food was good.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free—they accommodated me.
