One of the few places myy husband and zi must stop when going to or through Grand Ledge. They have massive serving sizes with a lot of mix-ins or toppings at inexpensive prices. The lines can get long on hot weekends as a result, but that's a good sign at any ice cream place.
So good! Stopped in after a hike at Fitzgerald park. You can get soft serve with swirls of flavor in it, yum! Butter pecan was delicious. I appreciate the plastic holders they set the normal cones in for little ones, slows down the mess...if they let it all melt you will still end up with some drips though, keep an eye on that.
Cute mom and pop kinda place. As with many of my reviews I give my observations pro and con. Pros: fast service, tasty ice cream, cute plastic cone holders that catch cone drip so it doesnt end up on your hand, places outside to sit with umbrellas, yes there is a bathroom inside. Cons: The plastic spoons have sharp edges, my brownie in my sundae did not taste homemade so a little disappointed, and small parking lot (like 2 spots) but street parking is available. Not a bad place...
