Cool place. Tried a flight of all six varieties of mead, and they were great. Enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and had a wonderful conversation with super-friendly staff. Really enjoyed the vibe. 10/10 would gladly visit again.

The greatest atmosphere of all time. I met THE bartender of the century John. I was acting silly and asked him to order me mead that Gandolf the Gray would order. John allowed me to use his custom mug and made me a one of a kind drink. From there he talked in length about the history of the establishment. The staff treats you like family. The best service, the best people, and the best St. Patty’s Day of my life.

As a nomad, I travel all over the country on foot, and I rarely run across restaurants such as this. The cook Surge is one of the nicest men you could ever meet, and the food there is excellent. I would personally recommend the lucky sandwich. The food is all handmade and tastes absolutely delicious, as care is actually taken in it's preparation. Unlike a lot of places, they make most of their dishes from scratch, not ordering from GFS and reheating meals to pass off as genuinely handmade. The atmosphere here is laid back and chill, the people here are interesting and some of the nicest folk you'll run across, and the food is amazing. I don't consume alcohol, but everyone I have heart speak of the mead and drinks during my visits have enjoyed the alcohol at this establishment. If you're looking for a chill place to relax, buy a drink or get a meal Arktos Meadery is definitely a place you should check out.

INCREDIBLE spot for drinks, vibes, and GAMING.Have you ever walked into a bar and thought "Gee I wish I were in Skyrim right now. Or Westeros. Or Skellige." Then, my brother in Christ, do I have a spot for YOU.The sheer attention to detail and theming at this place is incredible. From the artfully crafted stone and woodwork to the long hall style tables to the hand carved bar...the ambiance is off the charts. This is a purpose built fantasy themed drinking hall. The mead is also excellent, and this is coming from a serious globetrotting beer and mead snob. Everything they have on tap is fantastic. The service is also excellent - particularly with David and the Cellar Of Tales. And the Cellar is what sells it! It's a tailor made gaming space that any D&D or Warhammer geek would love. Move over, House Rules; THIS is the premiere gaming space if you want to rent a table for some serious D&D or Warhammer. The entire downstairs is set up like your own personal fantasy space a'la Critical Role. In addition to selling tons of cool stuff (dice, minis, etc) you can rent it out by the hour for a reasonable rate to host games! There's mood lighting, playable terrain to rent, a sound system to use, and even a fog machine setup! If you like gaming, drinking, nerddom, and just good vibes, this is your new favorite spot, even if you haven't found it yet.The only critique I could offer is pointing out what it isn't: it is a Meadery, not a bar. So don't expect a fully stocked bar with liquor, cocktails, or Budweiser. They have mead, grog, cider, and craft beer (and it's all good.) Wine lovers may enjoy it too as mead is literally just honey wine. Also no sports, no TVs, and the kitchen is mostly limited to (very good) BBQ and charcuterie. It isn't an all purpose bar, it's a specialist Meadery, and it executes on its theme and product amazingly well.TL;DR: Shut up and take my money.

This is probably the best themed establishment I've been too. To start, the meads are delicious, my personal favorite being the Captain's Grog. Food options were limited but quality. For a D&D nerd like me, the atmosphere was top notch. The best part however, is the mini game store and game rental area in the basement. Our party had rented the space for a D&D session and it was fantastic. The props, the lighting, the minis available for use, and even a fog machine! It was awesome playing and having full bar service at the same time. I definitely recommend any and all gamers to check it out.

This place is incredible. The Mead is amazing. I had never had it before until I came here. The simplest way I can describe the taste is wine but made from honey instead of grapes. I tried 5 meads, and all were amazing. Everyone who works here is also amazing. Very friendly and talkative people who gave above-and-beyond service and conversation. Overall decor and ambiance were perfect. A lot of effort went into making this place look so good. A lot of little details that are awesome. Music included many songs I knew from fantasy video games, and it fit perfectly.

I loved it. They had a good selection of meads, and the Bartender was knowledgeable and fun to talk with!
