Love this bakery. Fresh bread ready to go, cupcakes ready for special treats in the grab and go freezer. Cakes too. They have amazing filled cakes, my favorite is the lemon filling. Fresh filled donuts tempt near checkout. Places to sit if you just want to meet up. Hearing friendly!
I love their Dutch Chocolate Torte so we made a special trip thinking we’d get lunch and get some cake. We were told the kitchen was being renovated so no lunch. Just a bit disappointed since the website advertises salads and sandwiches. We took the cake home and it was kind of dry. Seemed like maybe it had been in the freezer for awhile. I’ve always loved this place and was expecting more. Hopefully this was a one time experience and it will be better next time.
