This was our first time visiting the black napkin. It only seats, maybe 8-10 people, but as we are in line, I notice that most people just pick up their order to go. The employee running the counter was very helpful, being our first time and was very personable. Our food order was complete and about 10 minutes. We both had the big malcolm burger, ruby redfresca, one order of rust fries with sun-dried tomato mayo & one order of original fries with olive mayo. Everything was delicious! We both fought another drink to try and take home. They also have a large selection of homemade popsicles.

Been coming to Black Napkin for years. This is my comfort food! Had a long week.. black napkin. First date spot, absolutely. Waiting in the most cramped area for rust fries, I’d do it all day. Best burger in town.

My favorite burger place that there is! Amazing service, qualitu burgers, and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend supporting this local business and having some of the best burgers this state has to offer.

This burger was certainly something I cannot replicate at home. Mainly because I don’t own a griddle. I ordered the Double Big Malcom. On it was American cheese, shredded lettuce, and pickle (I also requested grilled onions but that is a preference of my own). It came wrapped in tin foil in a paper bag much like they do at Five Guys. The bun was a challah sesame bun. Not toasted, not steamed. It was airy and fluffy, but firm to hold the contents. In it were two 3 ounce patties sandwiched between a layer of that American cheese. The patties were paper thin. Smashed and spread on to the flat top these 3 oz patties was all sear capturing the beef fat flavor. These burgers didn’t need to be flipped.

I think what this place gets its hype for is that they do the simple things extremely well. This isn’t A5 wagyu. It’s not served with a fried egg or onion ring, or whatever crazy toppings you want to add. It’s just a really good smash burger on a really good bun.

Amazing as always. The fries are excellent, the sandwiches are just the right amount of messy and the side sauces perfectly complement the seasoning choices on the above mentioned excellent fries. Craft made sodas are assembled in front of you. And Any Flavor You Like popsicles are available for dessert. Only two or three tables inside so they are mainly a takeaway restaurant.

Spectacular food - crispy, flavorful, hot burgers on delicious buns. The best fries you’ve ever had (get the Rust fries with Thai basil aioli!). Creative sodas. Super friendly service that was fast considering how busy it was. Line out the door and still food with a smile.

Be aware there isn’t really space to sit. Plan accordingly!

The burgers are amazing but the fries are to die for. Seriously their fries set such a high bar for all other restaurants that I’m not sure they can be topped.

My family and I were thoroughly surprised here, the menu is simple and done right. I really loved their fries, still crunchy after a 20 minute drive home. Their sauces were good too, I'd love to see them move to a bigger space in the future!

I’m not a Smash burger guy but man the line at this place is worth the wait! Was visiting family and this place popped up and I’m glad we decided to give it a try and again glad we didn’t let the line scare us away. Well worth the wait.
