It had been a while since i've been here. I can say this is some of the best service I've had in the city for a long while. Andrew was our bartender and I want to specifically say what an amazing job he did. Great bartender, good recommendations, and his quality of service would certainly be a reason I'll be back here more often.

I attended the long awaited Wizard Burial Ground keg tapping 2025. My advice to the brewers is to go back to 2018. That year and the years before were fantastic! Since then it feels like drinking a strong “spirit,” not beer. Harsh. My humble opinion. Prices are way up. Only one kind of frites. Change is inevitable, and sometimes not entirely welcome, but that’s life.

It was just beyond average. The food wad kind of lackluster. Ive had had way better, Ive also had worse. Really pricey but the customer service was good
We're new in town and have been trying new places to see what's worth it. Vivant is worth it! We sat at the bar and Andrew was an incredible bartender. We tried several beers - all of which were fantastic. Food was great, with good variety and add-on options. Loved this place and will definitely be going back.

Stopped in while my wife was shopping. Always reliable, friendly and fun. Oktoberfest and pils were both on point and enjoyed.

A charming brewery set inside a former church. We ordered two beer flights, truffle fries, poutine, and a bowl of pickles. The beer list had a solid variety, though a few we wanted to try were unavailable. The ones we did have were enjoyable. The fries and poutine were good, fairly standard. The pickles, while tasty at first, got too acidic and started to burn after a while. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and prices were reasonable. I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the Grand Rapids area.
This was our first time here but it will definitely not be the last! From the time we walked in, our hostess Mary went out of her way to make us feel welcome and accommodated. Our server Em was efficient and attentive without being overbearing. She knew the menu inside and out, and graciously answered all our questions. The bartender Andrew helped my husband choose a beer that would fit his taste. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! The atmosphere is charming. Just an all-around pleasant experience.

Got the Boar Rigatoni and Chef's burger with my girlfriend. Burger was alright, but the Rigatoni was one of the most blandest pastas I've ever eaten. You can't taste any seasoning and it had an incredible lack of salt. We told the waiter how displeasing it was and sent it back, and decided not to order anything else. We were still charged for that Rigatoni. For the most expensive thing on the menu to be that bad and lacking the basics of a pasta instantly leaves a bad taste in my mouth, let alone being charged for returning a nearly full plate. Never going again and would not recommend.

With plenty of table space we were told there would be a 20 minute wait. The staff was very dismissive regarding our request for a table. If we would have gotten in, I'm sure the beer and service might have been adequate. We'll never know unless we return..

😮💨Wow. Beers that were unique AND delicious, great food, and a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff? The only thing I don’t like is that it isn’t closer to my home state. 😭

Came here less than 2 weeks ago and saw that they had escargot. I asked about it and made sure that it was a regular menu item. Came here today with the intention of ordering it only to be informed that it has been dropped from the menu which was rather frustrating considering I even asked beforehand if it was an item normally on the menu. Unfortunately this made for a thoroughly disappointing experience.

WAY TOO OVERPRICED!!! The beer cheese and pretzels were too garlicky and my partners fries had a gross amount of truffle oil which made them unappetizing. the beers where mid at best. Great service though.
