We visited this restaurant while passing through Grand Rapids and found the atmosphere to be relaxed and calm. The food was decent, but not outstanding. The fish and chips were average, with an excess of grease that detracted from the overall flavor. We also tried the El Cubano, which introduced us to some interesting new flavors, though it wasn’t particularly memorable. I could also say the potatoes were not fried in a fresh oil.

Food was amazing, and I would've had it five stars across the board if it weren't busier. Lots of people cranked at the bar watching football made it hard to get our servers attention at times, but that wasn't her fault. Worth the wait!

Brick and Porter was solid. I ordered the Meat Wagon solely because of how ridiculous it sounded (it’s basically just a lot of meats on a burger) and it was fine. It really just tasted like a normal pub burger. That’s not a bad thing, it just isn’t anything special. The fries were really good though! Our server was super nice and friendly, but the service in general was a bit on the slower side. Cool vibe overall. It was a positive experience! I just wouldn’t say you necessarily...
