We’ve been here 4 times. 3/4 were solid. The 4th visit, two of us decided to try the prime rib special. The meat was very tough, bland, and overcooked. Way too expensive for prime rib at a place that obviously doesn’t know how to prepare it. We’ll be back, but will never make that mistake again.
Dudes, I would fly from my home in San Francisco to eat their lake perch and have a few of their affordable cocktails. NEVER GO TO A CHAIN restaurant when you are in a town like GR or SF. So many independent gems like Cascade Roadhouse to be found.
My cousin & I are a couple of silver haired older ladies who enjoy trying out restaurants that we've not been to. ( We are both widows now). The Roadhouse rung all the bells. The food & service were both outstanding. A+ & thumbs up from both of us.
