Char is an absolute gem! I had the wonton nachos and wings, and both were fantastic. The wonton nachos were so unique—crispy, flavorful, and loaded with the perfect balance of toppings. The wings were cooked perfectly, juicy on the inside with just the right amount of crisp and seasoning on the outside. You can tell a lot of care goes into how the food is prepared and presented.

On top of the great food, the atmosphere at Char is easy, making it a great spot...

The food. Yall. The sauces and the crab rangoon things and the soba and the tacos... they load it on there...and the combinations are so so good.
Tacos you get a lot for the price, and Abdul and his brother are so nice and service is always great!
Char is located as a quick lunch place, there are tables in the adjacent building or a bar around the edge of the room.
They serve halal and their vegetarian options are great too!

Char is one of our absolute favorite places in Grand Rapids! The food never misses, the staff is kind, and they have fantastic options. We highly recommend Char to everyone we know!
