Glad we decided on Charlie’s for dinner, while in town.
I had the smelt basket , such a generous portion!! Husband got the Cuban sandwich, which also was quite generous. We both barely finished our meal. Our waitress was so kind and attentive.
Lots of regulars and by conversations we could sense the welcoming family atmosphere.

We have to say we were a little skeptical on coming here but we will definitely be back. Although the place is dated the menu is extensive and the food was excellent. We had the smelt basket which was amazing. To top it off we had the nicest, sweetest, server, Amber. She truly is a bright spot. We live up North but work out of Grand Rapids and this will be our new favorite place. It is worth a try and see for yourself. Thank you Amber for such a wonderful night. Wishing...
