Just a darling place! Food is yummy and they have some inventive specials. Perfect for a casual brunch experience at a place with deep roots and history. They are just missing the patio with umbrella tables, but otherwise you feel very much like you're in a cafe. We'll definitely be back!

I've been wanting to go hwre forever and I finally got a chance when my wife was put of town this weekend. I had the special surf and turf benedict with crab cake on one side and filet on the other. Fabulous! Plenty of sauce, spinach, eggs were perfectly poached. Coffee was always full and the host and server were friendly and charming.
Atmosphere loses a point for the creaky floors and old apartment vibe.
And the other patrons, sheesh. I was dining alone so could overhear the tables around me. All mature white people, which I am...but for the love of god folks, listen to yourselves.

Cherie Inn is fantastic. We’ve had Jamie as our server three times now, and she is always amazing to us. She is thoughtful, fast, and genuinely kind. The host was also incredibly sweet and even walked an older woman to her table, offering his arm, which really showed the care and kindness of the staff here. 🥹
The food is excellent, especially my favorite - the spicy vegan tacos! Wonderful service, great atmosphere, and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best breakfast spot in Grand Rapids. And if you can’t eat gluten, the GF blueberry pancakes are incredible. Oh and their crispy bacon 🤤.
