This place was nice! First off, I walked in and there was no one telling me that I had to order food and drink at the bar. There are no waitresses.. I mean they bring out your food, but you have to go up and order it for yourself and wait in line. Fine, would be nice if there was a sign or something. my salad was just not what I expected for $14 and then we got the fries for $12 and there were probably six fries. I’m not a big beer person so I probably won’t be coming back but I’m sure their beer is good… and the outside tables looked cute.
Great beer, great food, and great staff. Highly recommend coming here
A great local place to enjoy. Service is a little different so everyone orders the beer at the bar along with your food and they bring it to you after it is done. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather.
Would be nice to be able to park closer instead of seating in the road for those few nice days we get. Good beer just too bad that sometimes the unelected exmayor frequents. That aside the beer is good and food is as well. If there is a food truck usually you cant get their food
We showed up on live music night by accident and it was great! The server had such a great attitude even though she was super busy. Beer is best in Grand Rapids.
Great beer, awesome people, great vibe, a must visit
City Built Brewing Company is a great spot on the corner for grabbing some beers! I didn’t try the food, so can’t speak to that, but their beer selection is solid — especially if you’re into hop-forward brews. They’ve got a good variety and offer flights, which is always a plus when you want to sample a few.
The atmosphere is fun and lively, and the service was solid throughout. Definitely a cool place to hang out and enjoy some well-crafted beers in Grand Rapids.
On a hot day, mocktail Garden Party was the perfect pairing to a “Connecticut”. Thanks for bringing Cousins Maine Lobster to Mason St.!
Cool place, great food. The tinga taco and cubano were both amazing. Beer was great. Only downfall was having to order through phone and not with human.
Had a great sour here and some tasty tacos and yucca fries. I was here during a busy block party weekend, but they kept things rolling pretty well with it being so busy. One of my friends had an order that got messed up and they were extremely fast and accommodating in getting it fixed.

Great place. Great service ! Loved our bartender, Morgan. We were visiting for the weekend and she gave us great suggestions on places to visit and even comped us some drinks ! Highly recommend !
Service was pretty slow, but after chatting with a regular it isn’t usually like that and there may have been some new staff. Beer was great, food was great, definitely visit!
Found this great brewpub by chance, and so glad we did. The menu is Puerto Rican at heart, which we loved. Try the Tostones [fried plantains] - they are excellent! They are NOT sweet and are a healthier alternative to fries. My meal was excellent, and the beer was great. They have a scaled-back menu, which I prefer because that tends to mean fresher food. Only drawback was that a vegan person like my husband will be hard-pressed to dine here, since even the rice dish has bacon in it. So it would be nice if they would have a Vegan rice option. My husband will eat Fish in a pinch, so he ended up having the Fish [or maybe Shrimp?] taco. The food was excellent, the service was great. I was initially not super crazy about having to order on my phone, but the server was really attentive and came over to help us and answer our questions. I think it made service much faster so you didn’t have to wait for when the server gets around to coming to your table, so that was a plus. It also would make splitting a tab much much easier, though my husband and I paid together. Just know that this is not a typical sit-down restaurant in that sense. The music they were playing was perfect and I was really just feeling good vibes here, looking out to the old bridge and river.
Nice selection of beer that are well done. Food is nice although I felt the pork tacos were a little dry. The at table ordering was convenient, but needs work. Items were delivered quickly.
Nice beer and food
