I have been a frequent customer since about 2017. It just occurred to me to finally leave a review at the risk of having more of my favorite meat be sold out by the end of the day. After trying DOZENS of BBQ in the state, I can say with confidence that Daddy Pete's is the best in the region, if not state. You will not find better food, service, or value for your money at any other place within 3 hours of driving to this amazing business. I have tried every item on the menu and you cant go wrong with any selection!

Overall good experience. The food was mostly good. The sides were phenomenal. One minor gripe (and it's not big enough to keep us from returning) was we were the only customers there yet we still waiting 25 minutes for food. Low and slow bbq has been ready. But at the end of the day we'll be returning and we've been spreading the word. Thank you

The BBQ was the best I've had in the Grand Rapids area. So well done. I had ribs and brisket. Both were so good.Only a few places to sit but for take-out you can't beat this.

I’m not much of a meat eater but if Daddy Pete’s is on the menu you better believe I’m getting me some brisket. And the Bbq sauce is so damn good I could bathe in it. Cornbread is the best in the game. Mac and cheese is award winning. We are more than happy to spend our time and money here. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t regret it. And the staff is awesome!

Hands down the best brisket in town, no questions asked. I've lived in the area long enough to say this is one of the best barbecue shops in Grand Rapids possibly all of West Michigan.Not only are the meats cooked properly all the way to the seasoning but I recently found out that their meats are sourced fresh every week.Good service, good food make a great restaurant.

I had a chance to eat brisket from Daddy Pete's, City Barbeque, and 2 Scotts all in one week. Daddy Pete's was the best, hands down without a doubt. I wasn't trying to compare when I bought them and just had an urge for some brisket but the difference was extreme. Mama Pete's buffalo barbecue sauce is something to write home to your mama about. You also set the standard on how baked beans are simply delicious without having to add a thing from your cupboards at home! Great work!

Picked up a catering order this afternoon 10/14/22.The ladies working were so friendly. Went through the whole order with me to make sure everything was correct. There are not enough stars to even come close to how awesome this food is!!Every single guest at our wedding complimented the food!The brisket is to die for!!We had ZERO food left over because our guests had not only seconds but thirds!!Awesome, awesome, AWESOME company!!

I went to an event catered by Daddy Pete's BBQ. The food was out of this world. There was a huge selection there and not one dish was bad. The quality of the meat was the first thing I found great. The pulled pork was tender, perfectly cooked and sauced. The chicken wings actually had a great BBQ flavor, was juicy and isn't full of veins. Just completely meat!! I loved that their sauce is thick so it sticks and nothing left a greasy residue on my hands after holding it. They had a crisp outer layer and weren't mushy like baked or boiled. All of it had a true BBQ taste cooked into the meat itself. This is not your typical BBQ joint. Clearly they believe BBQ is the flavor in the food itself, that BBQ doesn't mean it's BBQ because you put sauce on it!!!! You can tell whoever started this restaurant took pride in the development and made sure it was what they would want and enjoy.

Came for the vegan options. Was NOT disappointed. I had the vegan hot mess with Jackfruit. This place is great! Wife had the ribs, and ate them all in the parking lot. This place is Legit.
