My Kitchen Reviews
Tasty, legit and authentic Asian cuisine. As a food enjoyer and having travelled to Asia for work previously, this place is as close as I’ve found in west Michigan to the great, complex flavors of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan, etc. Get in here and give it a try. Highly recommend the sesame chicken.
AMAZING FOOD! authentic Szechuan as well as western options. Reasonable pricing too. So good, can’t wait to come back.
Knew this place opened but I wanted to let them get some time in before I tried them out. Did not disappoint. Don’t be intimidated to try Sichuan style Chinese food. The mala spice and Sichuan peppers are numbingly spicy and good. Description in the pictures.

My Kitchen is a hidden gem in Grand Rapids, serving authentic Chinese cuisine. The menu boasts a wide range of options, including the popular Szechuan Beef and Brisket Bowl with Szechuan spices, perfect for those who like spicy food. The dishes are cooked to perfection, with the Szechuan menu being a standout. The restaurant is clean, well-decorated, and serves food quickly. The staff is friendly and attentive.
The food at My Kitchen is amazing, with dry pots full of variety and flavor. The tweens loved the "slurpy noodles," and the meals are big enough to split, even without a specific kids menu. Customers praise the best and most authentic Szechuan and milder Chinese food they've found in West Michigan, comparing it to the complex, life-changing flavors of Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taiwan. The restaurant is an understated, functional dining room space, but the food is the star, with standout dishes like sesame chicken, crispy fried squid with hot pepper, and double-cooked pork. Customers recommend dining in to enjoy the food hot and crispy right out of the kitchen.
