The lunch combo was severely underwhelming. The general Tso's chicken is fine, but it tastes more like sweet and sour chicken there is no heat and the serving size was smaller than I would expect. The egg roll is tiny and the filling screamed frozen. The worst of it was the fried rice. I've never had terrible fried rice until I tried this fried rice. It was mushy and had a musty taste, totally inedible in my option. You're better off with any other Chinese take out spot.

Service was on slow side, felt like we imposing on waitress. The food tasted old and dry. The pork egg rolls where gross full Of pork fat.The only thing good was hot and sour soup. Wont return.

Love this place so much! My family and I have to talk ourselves out of eating here several times a week bc we have food at home. We still end up here once a week. They have an amazing Szechuan menu that is our fav (dry pot, hue noodle soup, etc) but their reg Chinese food rocks, too. Probably my favorite crab rangoon this side of the Mississippi. Overall top spot for Chinese/Szechuan food in the area.

YUM. Had read reviews of this place & had to try it. We got our order to go, bc we wanted to watch a football game at home. We ordered double cooked pork (aka twice-cooked), which is very hard to find on Chinese menus anymore, and it was so flavorful. We also ordered dry pot fish filet, which was fantastic. It was spicy, had crunchy lotus root, and had a unique flavor. So good. We also ordered my favorite, stirfry string beans. It was enough food for 2 full meals, plus a lunch. Definitely coming back!

Very good Chinese food. The Szechuan style dishes are the best. My favorite is the sliced beef in oil and the various dry pot dishes, but they're all tasty.

I’ve been looking for a Chinese restaurant that can make some good mapo tofu for a long time. The first time I had it was when I was in Kalamazoo for college and ever since I moved back home in GR I could not find a Chinese restaurant that could make a mapo tofu the same as my first experience.Until now when my friend recommended me this place that has authentic Chinese food. I’ve lived in the GR/Wyoming area my whole life and I can’t believe I’ve never been here. The mapo tofu was so good, brought me back to my first experience.Ever since then I’ve ordered other dishes and they all do not disappoint. This will be my go to place for Chinese food.

To begin with, we are an Asian family that has eaten in Chinese restaurants in China, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Manila, many European capitals and every Chinatown in the US. This is a very unusual US - Chinese restaurant. Why? Because it prepares Chinese food in the Chinese way - with a blend of strong spices and without the cups of sweet, cloying sauces that have come to dominate US Chinese dishes. We stumbled upon this place last week by chance and were quite astonished by the food. We ordered egg foo young, lamb with cumin, eggplant with garlic sauce, dry pot duck with pepper, and Singapore stir fried rice noodles. Each dish was uniquely spiced and delicious - deeply satisfying. The menu is extensive and includes many dishes not ordinarily found in the US. The cooking is not refined and can seem a little rough and may take a little time to get used to, but this experience is quickly overridden by the flavors.

First time trying this place and it was a great experience! We ordered app sampler, garlic eggplants, egg foo young, and garlic & shrimp. My favorite was the eggplant, it was my first time trying it and we loved it. Everything was delicious and the portions were good too. Prices were not bad either, very reasonable. Pretty quick service and server boxed our leftovers, which was a nice gesture. I’m planning to come back to try more dishes! Yum!

I got takeout from My Kitchen and loved it. The veggie spring rolls tasted fresh and this has so far been the only place that had mapo tofu with actual sichuan peppercorns. Really impressed with the choices here!Vegetarian options: They made my Mapo tofu vegetarian. Very happy about that.

This place was 10/10! We did have to wait for a min to get seated, but they were very apologetic about it. It was fine though, we were not in a rush. Everything we got was delicious, taste very authentic. We got the appetizers sampler, garlic eggplants, egg foo young, and shrimp&garlic. The sampler was alright, I think I would just get the crab rangoons, and egg rolls next time. The egg fu young was massive, and actually pretty good. My favorite, surprisingly was the garlic eggplants. The flavors was on point and it was cooked well. I literally would just come for that. I'm definitely coming back to try out more dishes. The service was amazing too, very friendly.

We are very surprised to find such an authentic Chinese SiChuan restaurant, GREAT foods! My son loves the LoMein , my husband said this is the best Chinese food since we moved away from China! Highly recommend if you want to find REAL Chinese food in Grand Rapids. This is the ONLY SiChuan restaurant here.
