We went to this place, ordered chilli momo, steamed momo and vegetarian chow mein. The chilli momo was the only thing that was actually nice. The steamed momo lacked flavour and the chow mein was such a let down!! It had waaaay too much soy sauce. When I told the server the server literally just smiled and said okay. And he asked if it was salty. I said it wasn’t but then he did nothing about it. No apologies, no can we try to fix it…I asked for the extra sauce...
My wife and I absolutely love this place. Great flavor, great service, great space. It sits in a strip mall next to Horrock’s so it’s a great date night to get dinner at Desi and then walk around a bit.
The only reason it didn’t earn 5 stars is we didn’t get a good portion of protein in each meal. Seemed like it could have been a little more but that’s it!

Great atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food. We tried the samosa as an appetizer—hearty; large size; tasted very fresh. We ordered butter chicken and kadhai (curry with scallops) — both were great! Came with rice, naan bread, and a green side salad. If you like a little spice, don’t order mild. The mild had very little heat. I would definitely go again!
